Batman must once again match wits with the Clown Prince of Crime as he returns in Death of the Family. This is the third volume in the New 52 Batman series. You’re right once again, the Joker is back in town and he’s out to get you! The Clown Prince of Crime may have had his face surgically removed but that’s not enough to put a stop to him. He’s back and this time, he broadcasts a warning on television through Mayor Hady’s son: he is going to kill the Mayor that night. Batman immediately sets off on his hunt for the Joker but he might not see the bigger picture. The Ace of Knaves is out to get a more worthy target: Batman’s entire family and allies. Can the Dark Knight protect his allies against his greatest nemesis, or will he fail them, just as he failed Barbara Gordon and Jason Todd?
