The Dark Knight reflects on his past with the Red Hood Gang and the District Attorney Harvey Dent in Batman, Volume 4: Zero Year – Secret City. Summary of the Book Continuing with the New 52 timeline, this book takes readers back to the past. Bruce Wayne is not yet the terrifying Caped Crusader. He has been absent from Gotham for a long time and is declared dead. However, Bruce is back in Gotham and he seeks to begin his one man assault against crime. He lacks a method of doing this and doesn’t have a strategy yet. Needless to say, Bruce is not quite the Batman he needs to become. His efforts become even more troubled when he is forced to face the Red Hood gang. These miscreants are terrorizing the city of Gotham and wreaking havoc on its citizens. Gotham is infested with criminals, and the only ones who look like they’re willing to try and fix it are the incorrigible District Attorney Harvey Dent and GCPD Captain James Gordon. About Scott Snyder Scott Snyder is an American writer. Beginning at DC with Detective Comics #871, he is also the writer of Batman: Gates of Gotham, Superman Unchained, Swamp Thing and is the current writer for the New 52 Batman titles. Greg Capullo is an American comic book artist and penciller. A Batman fan from the age of four, Capullo currently works on the New 52 Batman titles. He is also known for his artwork on Quasar (1991–1992), X-Force (1992–1993), Angela (1994) and Spawn (1993–1999, 2003–2004). Danny Miki is an inker who has worked for Marvel, DC, and Image comics. He has worked on Supreme, Bloodstrike, Brigade, Team YoungBlood, Spawn, The Darkness, Moonknight, The New Avenger and Ultimate Six among others.
