Beyblade is a battling spinning top toyline and multimedia franchise developed by Takara Tomy. Inspired by traditional Japanese spinning tops called "beigoma," Beyblades are designed for competitive gameplay. Players use handheld launchers to propel their tops, known as "Beys," into a bowl-like arena called a "Beystadium." The objective is to out-spin the opponent, knock their top out of the stadium, or cause it to "burst" by separating its parts. Each Beyblade consists of multiple customizable parts, allowing players to create unique combinations tailored for different battle strategies, such as Attack, Defense, Stamina, or Balance types. The franchise has been a global hit since its debut in 1999, spawning numerous manga and anime series that depict a fictional world of bladers and their intense battles.
