Bayport Buccaneers is the 16th Hardy Boys: Undercover Brothers adventure from Franklin W. Dixon. Some of them seem obvious suspects, but could there be others with an equally strong need to wreck the production? About Franklin W. Dixon Franklin W. Dixon is the pseudonym of several writers, all of them ghostwriting the Hardy Boys series of stories. The name was first used by a Canadian writer called Leslie McFarlane. The rights to the name and the books are owned by Simon & Schuster, a publishing house based in New York. The Hardy Boys were created by Edward Stratemeyer, founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, a book-packaging firm.
