Festschrift is a German word used to name a collection of articles in honour of a scholar. This volume is a collection of articles on Prof. Dr Mathew Chandrankunnel CMI, elaborating his contributions in the fields of physics and philosophy, consciousness, ecology, interfaith dialogue written by scholars from all over the world. This book is divided into five parts, namely, Part I Salutations – a paragraph or two written by close associates and co-workers of Dr Mathew and Part II on Christianity and Wider Ecumenism where, longer articles on the dynamics of Ecumenism while Part III is on Hindu Christian Dialogue. In Part I, three articles are on Dr Mathew while scholars and renowned authors from all over the world address the themes of Part II and Part III. Part IV is on Science, Religion and Philosophy while Part V is on Consciousness, Ecology and Wellness. All these themes are close to the chest of Dr Mathew who wrote articles, books and organized national, international conferences and online series of programmes on all these subjects. Thus, this book is a good collection of well researched articles on science, philosophy, psychology, ecumenism, ecology, spirituality, wellness etc., while it also sheds light on the prolific life and prodigious contributions of Prof. Dr Mathew Chandrankunnel CMI.
