The updated edition 2023-2024 of “Best Book on SSB interview” is penned by Commander RS Rathore (Retd.). Cdr Rathore had been a selector in SSB for seven years. This book provides excellent guidance for all the tests of the SSB Interview lucidly with illustrations (in colour on a glossy paper) and examples. The book explains the whole process of the SSB Interview and simplifies each test methodically. The book systematically teaches OIR, PPDT, CPSS/PABT, each test of psychology, GTO tests and interviews. In addition, personality development has been scientifically covered, emphasising the type of personality required for the Armed Forces to ensure recommendation in the SSB Interview. This book provides more than sufficient information on Armed Forces. The pictures of aircraft, ships & submarines, and tanks & guns (with illustrations in colour on glossy paper) help the reader understand the characteristics and role of these assets. This book also covers wars and Conflicts fought by India, which fills the reader with pride. Maps are inserted to explain India’s foreign relations in detail. In addition, this book enriches the reader with current affairs (National & International). The topics essential for giving Lecturette during the GTO task are comprehensively covered. Furthermore, the written material on the 30 most important Group Discussion topics enables the reader to put across logical and analytical points.This book is quite voluminous (424 pages of A4 size paper). A smaller book would have covered only some topics one can expect in the SSB Interview. Most students surf the internet for expected topics but rarely get reliable data and the latest facts & examples. This book gives updated information & guidance needed for cracking the SSB Interview.
