This Bibliogrphical study was not originaly for publication. To begin with, in mid 1980’s, Eric Fabry wrote his first refrences on index cards so that he might decide which publication should be given priority as resources for his own research. Later on, though it was still inspired by his earlier motivation, the compalition gradually turned into a more and more systematic , exhaustive survey as he discovered more and more unusual, less well-known references. At this stage, data processing become essential. Then from the early 1990’s, the great volume of data and the relatively few comparable, updated studies gradually impelled him to put this mass of information at the disposal of the growing number of tibetology enthusiasts in today’s world. Still later, the birth of their first child drew near he realized that the time available for his research would shrink after its arrival and that he would have to work twice as hard to complete his research before that dealline. However, despite his efforts, which he thought were commendable, he failed to reach his goal and their second child was born before the bibliography was ready for publication.
