Abdominal colic is a common complaint in children due to digestive issues. Colic can present as frequent, intense and prolonged crying or fussiness in an otherwise healthy infant. Colic is most frequently seen in children above 6 weeks of age till 3-4 months of age. Generally, an expression of pain is perceived from the crying and it can seem like it is happening for no apparent reason unlike crying to express hunger or a diaper change.
