Filling it with hot water/ ice for a few minutes before will help keep your drink hot/ cold for longer, To keep beverages hot/ cold as mentioned, the lid should not be opened in between, to maintain temperature fill bottle completely, To avoid odour keep bottle uncovered when not in use, clean with mild detergents only, avoid carbonated and alcoholic beverages.
