Bos medicare surgical An ECG bulb electrode is a medical device that records the heart's electrical activity from 12 different angles. It uses 10 electrodes, which are usually self-adhesive pads with a conductive gel in the center, to create 12 leads. The electrodes are placed on the arms, legs, and around the chest, and are named RA, LA, RL, LL, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, and V6. Each lead measures a specific electrical potential difference, and the six electrodes V1 to V6 act as positive poles for all six precordial (chest) leads.
