Pola is a type of Bangles which is weared along with Sankha or sometime without Sankha.It's a sacred bangle symbolizing married women.Normally these are maroon color. There are two types of pola; plain pola and designer pola. Designer pola is weared with binding of Gold wire or Silver wire polished in gold polish or even as it is. In all cases it looks very beautiful.Ther designs have holes or cavities, where the metals can be fixed with out damaging the designs.As these designs look is very uncommon, it can be weared also without any metals.
