Boys Don't Knit is a hilarious and heart-warming story of a young college student stuck in probation. Summary of the Book Boy’s Don’t Knit revolves around the life of Ben Fletcher, a young boy who is on probation after an unfortunate incident involving a lollipop lady. Ben has to give something back to the community and develop a sense of social responsibility. As a part of his rehabilitation Ben has to take up a hobby and attend the classes on a regular basis. He opts to join a knitting group, which he believes is run by a gorgeous teacher he likes from school. Ben desperately tries to hide his hobby from his sports fanatic father and all his oh-so-cool friends. He eventually finds out that not only did he like knitting, he was actually very good at it.
