Brain – A Journey into a Nightmare… is a medical thriller penned by Robin Cook. Summary of the Book This title describes how a future generation of computers will function hard-wired to human brains. Katherine Collins goes to a private GYN clinic in Manhattan to get treated for some Gynac complaints. She also loses consciousness after having seizures, which happens when she smells a nauseating and strangely acquainted odour. The story revolves around Dr. Martin Philips, the protagonist, a 41 year-old neuroradiologist at the NYC medical centre. His girlfriend and colleague, Dr. Denise Sanger, is also involved in the same hospital. How are Katherine’s and Philips’s stories interrelated? Will Kat recover from her ailments?
