This 4 deck combo is great for children to build sentence length and complexity, together with building narrative skills. ACTION WORDS IN SENTENCES: This deck is designed to help children begin forming simple subject verb object sentences. Brainy Bug Position Words (Prepositions), Levels 1 and 2 (2 dedcks), Action Words in Sentences, and 3 Part Stories (1 deck). POSITION WORDS: These 60 cards will take your child through early and the advanced prepositions. Learning to use prepositions (position words) is fundamental to building long sentences. This combo deck will take your child from early prepositions (Level 1 of Brainy Bug Prepositions), to the more complex prepositions of level 2. Position words are important parts of classroom instructions (for example, ‘Put that across the window'), and they are important parts of mathematical and scientific understanding (for example, ‘Food passes through the digestice tract’). 3 PART STORIES: Once your child is beginning to comfortably use prepositions in sentences, use the 3 Part Stories to help your child speak in narrative. This is a more advanced skill that brings together language, world knowledge, ability to sequence and an ability to understand theory of the mind (ie, understand and describe how other people feel).
