Breaking Dawn is the final novel of the Twilight four book series and completes the story of Edward, the vampire, and his human lover, Bella. Summary Of The Book At the end of the previous novel, Bella Swan chooses to be with Edward, leaving Jacob heartbroken. Bella and Edward get married and Jacob attends the wedding. Edward and Bella leave for their honeymoon and on their return Bella realizes that she is pregnant, and that her baby is growing at an alarmingly fast rate. Edward constantly expresses his concern for Bella’s safety and is willing to sacrifice the child to save her. Jacob comes to know of Bella’s deteriorating health and thinks her sickness is because Edward has turned her into a vampire. He enters the Cullen home with the intention of killing Edward. However, on learning the truth Jacob changes his mind. Jacob’s wolf pack is feeling threatened by the unborn child and their leader, Sam, decides to kill both Bella and the child. A furious Jacob revolts against the pack leader and becomes the Alpha of a new breakaway pack, which includes Seth and his sister, Leah. He decides to protect Bella from the other members of his clan. Meanwhile, Bella undergoes a violent childbirth which ends up breaking most of the bones in her body, leaving her near dead. Edward reluctantly takes a decision that saves Bella, but which changes her life forever. The baby is named Renesmee and she grows at a rapid rate and soon becomes old enough to accompany her family on hunts. Irina, a vampire of the Denali clan thinks Renesmee is an immortal child and reports her as such to the Volturi who decide get rid of the child.
