Successful countries across globe have developed management styles in consonance with their own cultural ethos. Indian ethos for management means the applications of principles of management as revealed in our ancient wisdom brought forth in our sacred books like ‘Gita’, ‘Upanishads’, ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mah?bh?rata’. Even from Kautilys’ “Arthashastra” enunciated in a very systematic manner the strategy of administering empires. Hence, we can say that the body of knowledge in management discipline which derives its solutions from the rich and huge Indian system of ethics is known as Indian Ethos for Management. This book is an attempt to visualise the modern Indian management approach from the perspective of Indian Ethos. It will offer experiential learning and will spur the interest of the students, academicians, research scholars, corporate executives and social scientists in understanding the various management practices and functions based on Indian Ethos.
