PrefaceIn present era Indian economy is taking place as a global economy and there are so many challenges in worldwide prospective. The success of any economy is totally depends upon business environment can also be classified as economic environment and non-economic environment. The economic environment consists of factors such as monetary policy, fiscal policy, industrial policy, the price and income equations, economic system, economic development etc. The non-economic environment includes social, cultural, political, legal, technological factors etc.A study of the economic environment is essential to facilitate an understanding of the turbulent and dynamic environment which helps in effective decision-making by business managers. The economic environment of India has become international with progressive liberalization, privatization and globalization.
