The present edition of the book has been revised keeping in view the new syllabus prescribed for B.B.A. First Year 3 Year (Annual System). The subject matter has been presented in simple language and in very lucid style so that students may gain an understanding of statistical techniques as are applicable to business. In the revised edition of the book, many new Illustration and Questions have been included. Every possible care has been taken to avoid errors of print and principle. Still, we stand apologetic for the errors, if any, having crept in the book unnoticed. The illustrations and exercises have been selected from the various Universities Examinations and have been given topic-wise graded from easy to difficult.
