Published in the year 2013, Business Studies Class-XII is a book that is directed towards 12th grade students of the CBSE board, who are preparing for their business studies examination. Summary Of The Book Business Studies Class-XII is written for 12th grade students preparing for their board examinations. This book starts off by providing the readers with the syllabus for commerce, prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The chapters have been listed with the corresponding marks allocated to each of them. The business studies examination for CBSE-XII has been divided into two parts, with the first part carrying 60 marks and the second, 40 marks. This book has been divided into two parts containing 31 chapters in total. Some chapters include Consumer Protection: Importance and Ways, Personal Selling: Meaning and Importance, Capital Structure: Meaning and Determinants, Delegation of Authority and Decentralization, and Motivation: Meaning and Importance. At the beginning of each chapter, Singla outlines the objectives of the particular chapter and what the readers will learn once they are done with it. He then moves on to giving the readers a brief explanation of the important concepts in the chapter by means of the ‘Analysis Box’. In this box, important concepts are explained in the form of questions and answers to help the readers understand the topics better. He has also included ‘Tool Kits’ in each chapter to encapsulate important concepts. Additionally, the end of each chapter also comprises key concepts listed in point form. It also comprises questions which are from previous years’ question papers. Singla has also provided answers to some of these questions. Additionally, case studies have also been included at the end of each chapter with the intent of increasing the practical knowledge of the students. At the end of this book, Singla has provided the readers with a solved sample question paper of 2009, along with model test papers. He has also included CBSE question papers from previous years, helping the readers comprehend the type of questions that generally appear in this board examination.
