Life is hard as it is and for the protagonist in this story it is twice as hard because of the simple fact that he is gay. He has recently graduated from high school where he had found the environment to be oppressive because of all the taunting and the jeering he had to endure. It is the first summer of his life when he has felt so optimistic because he feels he has distanced himself from all those who judged him too harshly but little does he know it is not easy being gay anywhere in the world. He is hopeful he too will find love for he is young and just like any other boy his age he is eager to explore the joys of love and sex. Will he be able to find what he seeks?
