Cat’s Cradle is a take on the modern man and his madness. Featuring a midget as the protagonist, this book is about how the world is going to end at the hands of one man’s dark wishes. Dr. Felix Hoenikker is one of the founding fathers of the atomic bomb. As though it is not enough that he has created such a deadly weapon, he has left a deadlier gift to the world. He has invented 'ice-nine', a chemical that is capable of freezing the whole planet and bringing it to its end. During the search for the madman’s whereabouts, the reader will meet his three peculiar kids, a crazy dictator in the Caribbean, and eventually, utter madness.
