This set of five micro-shaper diamond files features commonly used file shapes you will need. The set includes one file of each shape: flat, round, half-round, triangle and square. Diamond files feature cutting surfaces created by embedding particles of industrial diamond into the surface material of the file. The sharp cutting edges and the hardness of the diamond makes these files effective on fragile materials such as stone, ceramic or glass and on metals such as gold, silver, brass, copper, etc. Diamond files cut quickly and smoothly every stroke, forward or back. Needle files feature a miniature profile with a shorter cutting surface (typically about half their length) and round, narrow handles. These small files are ideal for working on fine details and in small areas of the workpiece; they're ideal when access and surface finish take priority over metal removal.
