Denji was a part-time devil hunter who was merely trying to get by in a hostile environment. He gets revived by his pet devil Pochita after dying on the job and transforms into Chainsaw Man, a new and frightening creature.After being forced to murder a friend, Denji discovers that his brain has become mush due to desperation. He turns to Makima for assistance since he lacks the drive to keep on. However, Makima is not who she seems to be, and Denji's suffering has only just begun.
