This study approves the ability of studied plants to accumulate metals over time. Plants proved very useful bio-indicator to assess air pollution in urban areas. In addition, the data obtained do not show relevant differences in air contamination for the monitored limits between polluted and control areas. On the contrary, the levels of metals found in the plant leaf samples around Nanded city seem more related to the general diffusion of metals in this area. In conclusion, the outcomes of this study showed a specific metal as traces in air pollution.
