This book makes a comprehensive study of the foundational aspects of Christian ethics. Dealing with the definition and development of ethics, it discusses in detail the different theories in ethics. It also deliberates on the use of the Bible in ethics, situation ethics, ethics of the Gospels and ethics of various religious traditions. The issues concerning poverty, war and peace, ecology, subaltern perspectives on ethics, and post-modern ethics have been addressed as well. About the Author Dr. M. Stephen obtained degrees of B.A. and M.A. from Kerala University, B.D. and M. Th. from Serampore University followed by doctoral degree in. Theology awarded to him by Dharmaram Vidyashetram : Pontifical Alhonaeum of Philosophy and Theology, Bangalore. Presently he is Serving Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala, Adoor, Kerala as a theological teacher. He is a renowned writer and orator having authored several books and published numerous articles in English as well as Malayalam.
