Published in the year 1930, this book is considered one of the best pieces of literature written by the author himself, being read largely across the globe. About Sigmund Freud The author of this book, Sigmund Freud, was also a renowned neurologist from Austria. Apart from this book, Freud wrote a number of other books as well. Some of the literary works of the author include The Standard Edition Of The Complete Psychological Works Of Sigmund Freud, Jokes And Their Relation To The Unconscious, and Beyond The Pleasure Principle. Freud was born on the 6th of May, 1856, and was favored greatly by his parents. Even though they lacked the finances, he was educated, completing with honors, in the year 1873. He also attended the University Of Vienna, where he completed his degree in philosophy, physiology, and zoology. In the year 1881, he obtained an MD. Due to his immense contribution to the field of psychoanalysis, he was named as the founding father of psychoanalysis. The author passed away on the 23rd of September, 1939, as a result of suffering from cancer of the oral cavity.
