Cold Vengeance is the second novel in the Helen trilogy, preceded by Fever Dream. It is also the eleventh book in the Special Agent Pendergast series. Summary of the Book Enigmatic Special Agent Pendergast is on the hunt for everyone involved in his wife’s supposed murder. He has resolved to bring them all to justice, although the murder conspiracy is silenced. When he is on the search for one last conspirator, he gets into a danger that is more vicious than anything he had ever known! About the Authors Douglas Preston is a famous American author mostly known for his horror and techno-thriller novels. He was associated with the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He has also worked as the managing editor for Curator, and as a columnist for Natural History. Some of his notable solo works are The Codex, Blasphemy, Impact, and Jennie. Lincoln Child is an American author. He has worked at St. Martin’s Press as an editorial assistant and a full time editor. Some of his solo works are Utopia, Deep Storm, Death Match, and Terminal Freeze. Preston and Child have together written several works including: the Pendergast novels, the Gideon Crew novels, Mount Dragon, The Ice Limit, and Riptide. One of their works, Relic, has been adapted into a feature film.
