Summary of the Book There’s a killer on the loose on an airplane from Paris to London. It was a convenient way to hide a dead body, amongst the seemingly irrelevant passengers. After all, what did these others care about a dead woman, slumped in her seat? A young woman besotted with her man didn’t seem to even notice that there was a dead body near her seat. Neither did the cocaine-addicted Countess, it’d be surprising if she even noticed anything for all her drug consumption. The detective writer trying to get rid of the wasp didn’t need any other distractions. The killer was safe and sound. But what of the little Belgian gentleman sitting in Seat 29, precariously observing his co-passengers with his eyes as though he could smell blood? He was a curious man, with a curious moustache and an even more curious name. Hercule Poirot, it was a rather strange name to say the least. The killer didn’t bother though, there was nothing to worry. After all, what good would a little Belgian man do in a murder investigation? She created several best-selling storylines centred around timeless characters such as Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence and Parker Pyne.
