This Computer Applications in Business book has been designed specially to meet the need of students of B.Com (Hons.) IV Semester of Ranchi University, Ranchi and Kolhan University, Chaibasa. It serves as a textbook with very simple and elaborative language with a number of examples, pictures, diagrams, and tables. This will make the concepts more understandable, easy to learn and remember. Commands and procedure to perform various tasks has been given in step by step manner. It will help readers to simple follow steps and perform practically on a computer in an easy manner. A sufficient number of questions have been given in the exercise part with answers to objective type questions. All this will provide a lot of practice for the exam. Chapter 1 is not directly a requirement of the syllabus but has been given so that students get familiarize with the fundamentals of computers.
