Brown is currently a Professor of Business and Organizational Ethics at the University of San Francisco. He has written several articles, books, and research papers. Some of his works include Civilizing The Economy: A New Economics Of Provision, The Ethical Process: An Approach To Controversial Issues, and Working Ethics: Strategies For Decision Making And Organizational Responsibility. A host of experiences built up and shaped Brown’s interest in the subject of ethics at work. His internship at the Lay Academy in Germany was his first such experience. He pursued his doctoral studies in rhetoric and theology, and taught adults for long hours at the College of Professional Studies in order to further hone his skills. He took up workshops and lectures outside the United States to gain an international perspective on business ethics. In the year 2009, he received an Alumni Achievement Award from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He now has more than thirty years of experience as a consultant and teacher in organizational and business ethics.
