About The Authors Former Professor, Chairman and Principal of Sri Venkateswara University College, Tirupati, Late S. Narayana Rao has taught the students in this University for more than 35 years. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Minnesota (USA). He has received awards such as the Best Book Published from the Swami Paramananda Psychology Trust and the Distinguished Teacher Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has written nearly 15 research papers and two textbooks in the subjects of Counselling and Educational Psychology. He was associated with several professional organizations and worked as the Secretary of the Indian Psychological Association, as the Executive Secretary at the Centre for Studies in Human and Social Development, and as the President of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology. He has a Ph.D in Educational Psychology and Counselling. Prem Sahajpal is a Professor and Counsellor. Another book by her is Social Psychology. She completed her Ph.D from the University of Delhi in Social Psychology. She was a faculty member of Indraprastha College. She has also supervised research projects, published research papers and contributed to two text books. Currently, she is with NCERT and NIPCCD as a resource person and guest faculty. She is an active member of SAHAN, Muskan, and is a Counsellor at OSTOMY Society.
