Integrated disease management (IDM) has gaining importance for the development of management strategies which are of ecologically sound and yield sustainable crop practices. In the chemocentric agriculture, people rely heavily on the use of synthetic pesticides, which has aggravated many disease problems. IDM involves use of all the possible management strategies with least cost and less damage to the environmental with the main aim of sustainable production and to maximize the profit.
