The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for selecting efficient teachers to be appointed in the schools run by the Central Government such as Kendriya Vidyalayas. This book has been designed to act as the perfect resource book containing study as well as practice material for Paper I of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which isconducted for selecting teachers for Class I-V. The present success master for CTET Paper I has been divided into five parts namely Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (English), Language II (Hindi), Mathematics and Environmental Studies, each sub-divided into number of chapters as per the syllabus of CTET Paper I 2017. The Child Development and Pedagogy section covers Child Development, Concept of Inclusive Education & Understanding Children with Special Needs and Learning & Pedagogy whereas the Language I (English) section covers Unseen Passage (Prose), Unseen Passage (Poetry) and Pedagogy of Language Development. The Mathematics section on the other hand covers Number System, Algebra, Ratio & Proportion, Geometry, Mensuration, Data Handling and Pedagogical Issues. The Environmental Issues section covers Contents & Pedagogical Issues.The book contains ample number of solved problems at the end of each chapter to help aspirants have a deep understanding of the concepts discussed in the chapters. The solved problems have been designed on the lines of questions asked in recent years’ CTET Paper I.Also practice questions have been provided at the end of each chapter to help aspirants revise the concepts discussed in the chapters. The book also contains 2015& 2016 CTET Paper I Solved Papers to help aspirants get an insight into the examination pattern and the types of questions asked therein.
