He was honored with the Blair Bell Gold Medal of the Royal Society of Medicine, an award given to the specialist with the greatest lifetime contribution to the specialty. Seang Lin Tan is a Malaysia-born professor of gynecology at the McGill University. He was the leader of the team at MRC that achieved the first air-transport IVF program in North America along with many other commendable achievements. He lives in Canada with his wife and two children. Frank A. Chervenak, MD, is the Given Foundation Professor and Chairman at the New York Weil Cornell Medical Centre, USA. He has been a member of the World Society of Labor and Delivery and the World Association of Prenatal Medicine.
