The present book is prepared with consideration of emerging needs of understanding dairying activities in geographical and socio-economic perspectives. This book includes the development of dairy farming at global level through historical phases and spatial distribution in time and space. It includes six chapters. Introduction deals with nature and types of dairy farming systems prevailed in different agro-climatic regions in the world.
