The anthology Dalit Women's Auto biographies: Convergences and Divergences reformulates and envisages Dalit women's struggle against caste, class and gender- based oppression through some select Dalit women's autobiographies, memoirs and personal narratives. These autobiographies are the auguries of a new era vehemently focusing on women empowerment, Dalit politics, subalternity and Dalit feminism. Dalit women's long struggle to liberate themselves from their triple marginalized status to their leap towards justice, dignity, equality and liberation further provides a dialogic interface between their harrowing past and promising present. Highlighting different perspectives regarding Indian Dalit feminism, this anthology attempts to showcase the whole range of Dalit women's autobiographies in English and few in regional languages as well. Dr Bijender Singh (MA, MPhil, PhD, DLitt, UGC-NET, U-SET, M-SET, HPSET, H-TET) is the Editor-in-Chief of The Expression: An International Multidisciplinary e-Journal. Presently, he lives at Rohtak and works as an English lecturer, editor and writer. He has been the proud recipient of the Ambedkar Sahitya Ratna Award, Editorial Excellence Award, N.L.P. Samriti Samman and Dr B.R. Ambedkar National Award. He has written a few essays, some short-stories and many Hindi lyrics, ghazals, nazms and English poems. He has written/published thirty books.
