Rudraksha Mala (108 Beads) is used to chant mantras to please Lord Shiva or Lord Vishnu and can be worn around the neck as necklace. Rudrkasha beads work as a protector against negativity and evil eye. It is also known as Purnamala becuase of the 108 beads this mala or rosary is made of as the number of beads has significance attached to it. Like Lord Shiva was given 108 names in The Mahabharta, also Lord Vishnu had 108 names mentioned in The Mahabharata.
