Wireless sensor networks consist of inexpensive sensor nodes, each node has continuous sensing capability with limited communication power. They can be used for several commercial, civil, and military applications including vehicle tracking, climate monitoring, intelligence, medical, agriculture, etc. Sensor nodes with inbuilt chips and software are used for processing specific functions. The security application of a wireless sensor network is to collect and analyze data remotely and to detect any attack. Wireless sensor networks are relatively more insecure repositories and routers of data, which have increased the need for new security schemes. Their deployment in environments disaster areas, earthquake/rubble zones, or military battlegrounds can be seriously affected by any sensor failure or malicious attack/security threats from an enemy.
