It aims to give the reader a solid grasp of multi-dimensional analysis techniques for on-line analytical processing (OLAP) and object-oriented database architectures, and learn how basic modelling and design techniques are used every day in real-world products such as CASE tools, relational database management systems, and object database management systems.
