Meanwhile, in Japan, Masahiko Amakazu tries to counter the growing influence of Hollywood and to usher in a new era of Japanese cinema by exploiting his Swiss visitor. Kracht has presented in an interesting style the challenges they face in all these efforts and the consequences that follow.
