Shailesh Matiyani has portrayed the complex relationship between a father and his son in this novel. When the relations between husband and wife begin to sour, the father guides his son and offers him great advice. After that happens, the relations between the husband and the wife not only become sweeter but their family emerges as the ideal in all of the community. This is the message of this novel.
