This volume of the Design for Aging Review presents the best healthcare-related projects for 2002-2003, presented by the American Institute of Architects's Design for Aging Center in affiliation with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). A diverse range of more than forty projects, covering assisted living, continuing care retirement communities, nursing homes and more, was selected by the jury of architects and providers of senior housing services. Each project is presented with photographs, plans, and detailed statistics; together, the projects illustrate the future of design for the aging population.
