About the Author Jayant Mukherjee is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), India, and of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India. He did his Fellow Programme in Management from IIMA and Bachelor of Technology from IT-BHU. He has over 18 years of rich and varied experience in consultancy, content development, training, teaching, organization development, and research. He has taught at various leading management institutes in India including three years as a regular faculty member at XLRI School of Business and Human Resources, Jamshedpur, India. He has consulted a wide gamut of organizations spanning several sectors and industries including steel, petrochemicals, textile, hospitality, IT, and academic institutions. He is currently a management consultant and advisor to various organizations. His published work includes articles, book reviews, and case studies. He has authored a chapter titled ‘Aligning and Redesigning Human Resource Management Systems to meet Internationalization Needs’ published in the book Aligning Human Resource Processes: Challenges of Development (edited by Dharni P. Sinha et al., 1996). Jayant is passionate about the welfare of birds and animals. He is fond of painting, photography, and literature.
