This book by Stephen King contains four novellas that will take you on an unforgettable journey that is filled hope, horror and heartache. The stories are: Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, Apt Pupil, The Body and The Breathing Method. Summary of the Book Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption Two men who have been convicted of murder, one innocent and the other guilty, become good friends during their time in prison. As time goes, the two prisoners decide to come up with a plan to escape prison. Apt Pupil Todd is an extremely good student and comes from a very good family. Still, he cannot resist trying to get to know more about his teacher, Mr. Dussander. Todd knows of his teacher’s dark past and is seduced by the evil that surrounds Mr. Dussander. The Body Four young lads decide to go into the woods and look for the body of a boy who had been killed by a train. When they find the body, they discover a lot of other terrorizing things and are introduced to the cruelties of the world. The Breathing Method This is a story that involves the supernatural and other evil powers that exist. A doctor has been going to a men’s club for many years, where many stories have been shared among the men there. One night, the doctor visits the club and tells everyone the story of a woman who gave birth to a child in the most horrific way. About Stephen King Stephen King is an American horror-fiction writer. His books Carrie, Cujo and The Dark Tower series have rocketed him to fame and fortune. He has also written under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. King graduated from the University of Maine, where he met and married his wife Tabitha King. He lives in Bangor, Maine. The Shining was made into a hit movie which launched Jack Nicholson's career.
