The aim with which this text, Digital control Systems has been written is to give the readers full understanding of various principles and techniques of digital control system. The concepts are presented in a simplified manner The text is well supported by number of solved and unsolved problems. This book is a textbook intended to give the students an introductory course in the field of digital or discrete control, with an emphasis on applications. This book covers the fundamental principles and applications of digital control engineering, with emphasis on engineering design. Both transform based and state variable approaches will be included. The prerequisite for this course includes linear control system and a course on ordinary differential equations, and familiarity with Mat lab computations. Emphasis throughout the book is on the design of control system with an engineering approach to digital control. About the Author Ms Kavita Singh is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation in Apeejay Stya University, Sohna. She received B.Tech (Electronics and instrumentation) degree from YMCA University, Faridabad (Haryana) with Hoes Marks in 2002 and M.tech (Instrumentation and control) degree from MD University in 2006.She has 9 years of experience in teaching. Ms Rashmi Vashisth is Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Amity school of Engineering & Technology, IF University, Delhi. She received MSC (Electronics) degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana) with Hoes Marks in 2002 and M.tech (Instrumentation and control) degree from MD University in 2006.She has? years of experience in teaching.
