Laal Mati - Red Mud - Mooladhar Dhatu Mati1. Laal Mati (Red Mud): Red mud is the representative of Mooladhar Chakra, the Root chakra. It carries the Blessings of Lord Ganesh. 2. Red mud is active in destroying the ego, anger, cruelty, and bad aggressiveness of mankind. 3. Red Purified mud is used for Ganesh Prakshalan, that is this Red mud with water is rubbed on the Ganesh Idol, and then it should be washed with water. Wash the idol with water, then apply red mud, rub gently and nicely and then wash with water. This is called as Laal Mati Prakshalan. 4. Red mud prakshalan is done specifically to Ganesh and Devi Jagdamba. 5. Vastu importance: This purified and potentiated Red mud should be filled in a small box, and this box should be placed in the Agneya corner of home. Should be replaced by other red potentiated mud when this mud turns lighter. Roughly it should be replaced every month, on Ganesh Chaturthi.6. According to vastu, this red mud when is placed in the Agneya Corner, it helps improving the powerfulness, positive strength and reduces the bad effects from our home.
