Dolmens in the Blue Mountain is a story that explores the meaning of life and death in relation to the migration of Kerala’s Syrian Christian community. It is also about the difficult lives of tribal communities in the mountain ranges of the Western Ghats. Summary of the Book Many of us are still hoping to find different ways to get away from violence and corruption. Dolmens are single-chambered tombs that were constructed during the Neolithic period. In this book, it is used as a metaphor to explore the meaning of life and death. The book is about three brothers: one has migrated to Canada, the second finds a job in a Delhi based NGO, and the third has been asked to quit his job. Will the brothers be able to fulfill their dreams and aspirations? Will they be inspired by the dolmens that taught them how to live in harmony? About Kandathil Sebastian Kandathil Sebastian has a Master’s degree in social work and a PhD in Public Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has worked with the development sector for almost two decades. During this time, his work took him to various parts of the world and provided him with the opportunity to work with key players in the sector.
