Directed by Charles Martin Smith, Dolphin Tale 2 is a sequel to Dolphin Tale which stars 2-time Emmy Award-winner Harry Connick, Jr., Ashley Judd of Divergent fame and Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman (starred in Shawshank Redemption). Set years after a dolphin named Winter was rescued and given a prosthetic tail, Dolphin Tale 2 follows a boy named Sawyer Nelson who joins forces with a dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital in order to find Winter a companion in the wake of her surrogate mother’s death.
