Summary of the Book Mandy Berr has a lot to deal with. She longs for attention from her parents who are busy taking care of the newborn twin siblings. Timmy, her little brother, is always in her way and Dennis, her nemesis, has a knack of getting under her skin. Mandy has a lot going on, yet she is determined to take the lead role in the forthcoming Presidential Pageant at school. But her teacher’s surprise choice makes Mandy share the limelight. Will she find a way to outshine all competition? She sure has a lot of valuable lessons to learn apart from learning that it is never a good idea to wear polka-dot underwear with white pants.
