Don Quixote is a thrilling classic novel that documents the adventures of the protagonist, Alonso Quijano aka Don Quixote. Summary Of The Book Don Quixote revolves around the protagonist, Alonso Quijano, who resides in La Mancha, along with his niece and a housekeeper. Quixano is almost 50 years old and he spends a great deal of his time reading chivalry books, placing immense trust in each of the events documented in the literary works, regardless of how absurd they might sound. One day, he sneaks out of his home to experience the adventures he reads about and he wears some old armor. He then christens himself “Don Quixote de la Mancha” and his horse “Rocinante”. He then makes one of the neighboring farm girls his lady love, while she is oblivious of it. Aldonza Lorenzo, who is the young lady, is now christened Dulcinea del Toboso. After setting out on his adventure trip early morning, Quixote arrives at an inn. Believing it to be a castle, he requests the innkeeper, whom he presumed is the Lord of the castle, whether he can dub him a knight. Quixote gets into a brawl with the muleteers and he leaves, after the innkeeper fulfills his request. Quixote then rescues a young lad, who is tied to a tree for asking his master for his dues. He also lands himself in a mess with traders from Toledo and he is then beaten up terribly and taken home by one of the neighboring peasants. However, it was not too long after, that Quixote embarks on another adventure, getting beaten up and humiliated several times. During his adventures, he also meets escaped convicts, soldiers, priests, scorned lovers, prostitutes, and innkeepers. In his second adventure, Quixote is accompanied by one of his neighbors, Sancho Panza, who at one point even betrays Quixote. What follows next is a series of thrilling events that are set to determine whether Quixote continues his escapades or not.
